Frequently Asked Questions About Membership
  How much does membership cost?
The cost is $180.  Of this, $120.00 goes to ISM and $60.00 is your affiliate dues. Quite a bargain!  

   How do I pay my membership dues?
You can pay online or mail the completed application to NAPM-SFV, P.O. Box 4365, West Hills, CA 91308-4365.  Payment may be made by check or credit card (AMEX, Visa, or Master Card)

  How do I renew my membership?
Each year you will receive a letter from the affiliate reminding you that your annual dues are due. To renew your membership, simply return the letter with your payment to NAPM-SFV, P.O. Box 4365, West Hills, CA 91308-4365. Or you can fax it to: (805) 581-3839

  What if my membership expires?
If you let your membership expire you can renew it within 60 days of the expiration date without any penalty. After 60 days, please include an additional $20.00 with your renewal to cover administrative expenses.

  What are the benefits of being a member of NAPM-SFV?

  What is the difference between joining NAPM-SFV and joining ISM as a "Direct National" member?
When you contact ISM directly to apply for membership, you may be asked "Do you want to join as a "Direct National Member" or do you want to join an affiliate. If you do not specify that you want to join the NAPM, San Fernando Valley, you will be enrolled automatically as a Direct National Member. If this occurs you may not be able to transfer your membership to our affiliate until the following year, and will not enjoy the benefits of being a member of NAPM-SFV. If you apply for membership through the affiliate, you will automatically be enrolled as a member of NAPM-SFV as well as ISM.

   How can I join NAPM-SFV?
There are several convenient ways of becoming a member of NAPM-SFV.  Go to our website www.napmsfv.org click on the Membership folder on the left. Once you have read all about the benefits and requirements of becoming a member, click on Join NAPM to complete the application, or download the PDF version of the application, complete it and mail it to the address shown at the bottom.  Come to one of our monthly dinner meetings held at The Odyssey in Mission Hills. 15600 Odyssey Drive, and we will sign you up. Call us at (818) 993-0995, leave a message and someone will contact you within 48 hours.

  How do I transfer my ISM membership to NAPM-SFV?
To initiate the process of transferring from another ISM affiliate to NAPM-SFV, fill out an application or email us your name with professional/address information. Please include the name of your old affiliate membership number your wish to "transfer your membership to NAPM-SFV". We need the information that is on the application to insure that both National us have your up-to-date address information. Do not include money at this time. You can send the membership information to our PO Box noted on our website or email it to info@napmsfv or fax it to 805-581-3839.

In order to not hold up the transfer process, NAPM-SFV will submit the paperwork to ISM in Tempe AZ while we are chasing the information money with your old affiliate.  We will contact the affiliate you are transferring from and find out your anniversary date when you last paid them. If you are now at your renewal time with the old affiliate, we will bill you only for the NAPM-SFV renewing member price of $ 150.00. The initiation fees do not apply for transferring members.
